WHY?
At Badass Running Company our mission is to create healthier lives through Fun, Fitness & Charity. Without our Badass Volunteers, we can't provide all the fun at our events and certainly can't create all the charity we provide. So with this in mind, we deeply appreciate you and are forever grateful for each and every one of you.
WHAT?
Volunteers do a variety of things at events but at most events they assist at setup and breakdown, help check-in registrants, stock and serve mimosas or other drinks, hand out medals, provide water at the course water stations and generally make sure everyone is happy. Anyone who has ever been to a Badass Event as a registrant or volunteer knows that "Fun Is The Agenda".
WHEN?
Generally speaking and unless otherwise notified you are expected to be at the race location at 6 AM and help breakdown at 10AM (sometimes breakdown is earlier). Volunteers will be emailed a complete schedule of their participation, parking, location and all other necessary details typically 3 days before any event.
HOW?
Simple, just select the Event you wish to volunteer at from the "Race Event:" dropdown and checkout. All events have a volunteer limit and will indicate Out Of Stock when all volunteer slots are filled. Important: Registering for a volunteer spot is a commitment. Every volunteer is needed and critical so if you're taking a spot please make sure you show up.

In consideration of being permitted to volunteer in this event, I agree to assume all risks inherent in participation in such program, whether they are apparent to me or not. I certify that I am in good physical health and fit to participate. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that participation carries an inherent risk of injury to my person and damage to my property. I hereby waive and release, for myself and for my heirs and assigns, any and all claims, causes of action, or liabilities which may hereafter accrue against Badass Running Company and its affiliates, their agents, employees, volunteers, officers, directors, successors and assigns, Palm Beach County, Carmela Coffee, West Delray Plaza and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, that may arise as a result of my participation in this event, including any and all claims for personal injuries caused by Badass Running Company or employees, volunteers, officers, directors negligence. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of these events for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising, without monetary payment to me.
